PC/ABS Covestro Bayblend® FR2000

PC/ABS Covestro Bayblend® FR2000 is a flame‑retardant alloy plastic. It combines the excellent mechanical properties and heat resistance of polycarbonate (PC) with good processing flowability of ABS.

Main Applications

Electrical‑Electronic: housings and internal components for notebooks, desktops, copiers, printers and other business equipment; telecommunication devices (mobile‑phone housings), home appliances, switches and sockets.

Automotive Industry: automotive interior parts such as instrument panels and pillar trims.

Home Appliances: internal and external parts for washing machines, hair dryers, microwave ovens.
